Ghana dropped two places down in March edition of the Coca Cola/FIFA Ranking.
The Black Stars, previously ranked 43rd moved down to 45th after failing to amass points in the latest edition of the ranking.
The slip on the table is as a result of Ghana’s failure to play a friendly game on the FIFA free day last month.
Ghana is however the eighth best team on the African continent behind the likes of Egypt who is the best ranked African team in the World, Senegal, Cameroon, DR Congo, Burkina-Faso, Nigeria and Tunisia.
Former World Champions Brazil for the first time in seven years moved top of the ranking after being the first country to confirm a place at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Argentina, Germany, Chile and Columbia follow in that particular order.
