U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May has congratulated Nana Akufo Addo on his election as President of the Republic of Ghana.
In a letter addressed to him, the U.K Prime Minister noted that she deeply values the long-standing relationship between Ghana and U.K and believes the period ahead would offer both countries a great opportunity to do more.
Statement below
I wanted to congratulate you on your election as President of the Republic of Ghana. I recognize that it was a hard-fought campaign and that your margin of victory was impressive.
Our two countries share a strong and long-standing relationship, and one which I value deeply. I believe that the period ahead offers us a great opportunity to do more together.
I look forward to continuing our excellent co-operation on defence, drugs, crime and national security, and to working together on challenges such as tackling corruption.
Alongside our ongoing support to Ghana in areas such as governance, poverty reduction, education and health, I hope that we can look to deepen our economic co-operation.
I wish you and the people of Ghana every success. I look forward to meeting you when you make a visit to London.
Yours sincerely

YOU PEOPLE DEY TRYOOH, YOU DEY READ LETTERS FROM SUCH PEOPLE? YOUR HEAD GO BAST! SHE`S JUST A PUPET LIKE HER PREDECESSOR. THE BANKERS PLAY THEM LIKE TENNIS. EUROPE IS GOING TO WAR IN THE DESERT BECAUSE THE BANKERS WANT FREE OIL NOT JUST BECAUSE AN ARAB GROUP DECIDED TO CALL ITSELF AN ENGLISH NAME (ISLAMIC STATES) FAKE WAR. THIS IS A CLEAR CASE OF CREATE LOOT AND SHARE AND LET THE EUROPEAN TAX PAYER BEAR THE COST INJURIES AND DEATHS OF WAR. WE ARE NOT THE ONLY DAMMMIES
It is instructive that in the said letter contains a mention of drugs, this in diplomatic circles amounts to an insult to the administration of Nana Addo,it means that the British are aware of the relationship between NPP and drugs.
RECENTLY RECRUITED TEACHERS THREATEN TO DEMONSTRATE AGAINST THE DIRECTOR GENERAL AND THE GHANA EDUCATION SERVICE. Early this year 2016, some graduates were given the opportunity to apply for the post of teachers in senior high schools across the country. These graduates were made to subsequently pay about ghc62 in order to sit exam conducted at WAEC halls across the country. Upon success in this exam, about 2400 were recruited and posted to various senior high schools in the country, most of them, very far from their homes, with some traveling as far as from Tema to Wa and from Bolga to Yilo. Pathetically, these teachers, till date DO NOT HAVE STAFF IDs. Most tragically, there is wide report that some bursars are demanding money and call credit vouchers before they do the work for which they are being paid. They are not even being aided by their schools in alleviating their financial plights. "we shall soon organise ourselves and hit the streets if we are not given our STAFF IDs. Our colleagues are being discriminated against by other teachers too. We can't bare these any longer " one of the new recruits lamented. We want to through this medium, get to the GES LEADERSHIP to tell us where our fate lies. Kindly share till everyone hears this. Why can't GES work their ids for them. Corruption is killing them
So call Kojo ndur you think i dont know you? i can bring your house number your everything but its against my law, the time will come.
It took her almost a week to congratulates our President-Elect.This is unacceptable and immaturity on her part as the Prime Minister of The Commonwealth. We know the UK has its own problems but international diplomacy should never be compromised.
Those who patronise this platform know that I am Npp supporter. However, I don't want to get carried away by the contents of this letter. I looks fake. Please read closely and you'll agree with me. It doesn't look like a letter coming from someone of that international stature. It looks like a Jhs pupil writing an essay. No sign of maturity.Prove me wrong, anybody.
Kojo Ndur9 10, honestly there is something wrong with you, jealous, bitter, sarcasm laden, and negatively postured, there definitely something wrong with you. Mtcheeww... you don't have to like or support Nana, but the least you can do is act Mature about it! Grow up!
So what. I am waiting for my $1 million for K.E.E.A, my free school, my dam for my Village, free healthcare, free house, free free wife if possible, my factory for my Village. However, did UP/NPP got somebody for the thank you service to Atoa Niama or not? or they used that Fante guy who die in a hotel for the thank you service or not?
Thank Ms. May for your wishes. I want Nana to ask Britain, USA and the European Union to help him FIGHT illegal drugs to proves something to NDC.
