Ghana former captain Stephen Appiah has been encouraging Juventus new signing Richmond Boakye-Yiadom to go on loan.
According to Appiah, the Ghanaian player stands to benefit a lot from a loan stint with another club because that will enable him to gain a lot of experience.
It will be fine if a club come for him on loan because at the bottom of it, he will still remain a Juventus player, Appiah told TottoJuve. If he gains more experience and the club deems him ready then he can come back. This will be important if he wants to stay in the club.
The 18-year-old signed for the Old Lady early July from Genoa in a co-ownership deal. However, football pundits have argued he may be warming the bench at Turin due to his age and will be prudent to move on a loan deal to gain more playing time.
Appiah agrees with those assertions and with experience he believes such counsel will help shape up the strikers future.
I was at Parma and I never played. I wanted to play at all cost, so I went on loan to Brescia, he said. I got more playing time there and scored eight goals which helped me to join Juventus.
